This page shows you the basics of form settings within equate forms.

Each form includes configurable settings. This page outlines available settings and guides you through configuring them to suit your needs.

  • Submission Page - Specify the destination URL where the form should navigate after submission.

  • Workflow ID - Configure a zapier workflow ID to send form submission data to your endpoint.

  • Enable Preserved data - After submission, users can return to the form to edit their responses as needed. The form will then update the corresponding questions and values based on their changes.

  • Multi Step Form - The query selected below preserves data for each unique instance of the specified query. When using Equate Forms as a multi-step form, a unique query is required to store submission data for each step. Note: This requires an iterated query format, such as user=1,2,3, etc., to ensure unique identifiers for each step's data.

  • Absolute Expiration - The maximum amount of time the preserved data stays active before it is automatically removed, regardless of whether it has been accessed.

  • Sliding Expiration - The amount of time the preserved data will remain in the cache since it was last accessed. Each access resets the expiration timer, keeping the item in the cache longer if it is frequently used.
