Group Roots

A page detailing the features of group roots

What are group roots?

Group roots define the visible tree structure based on your assigned group. Only users with an administrator group can set or remove group roots. You can set a group root on folders, meaning members of that group will only have access to forms and folders within the assigned folder.

How do i set a group root?

  1. Locate and select the desired folder in the tree structure on the left side (Note: Only level 1 folders can be assigned to a group - directly under the root node).

  2. Right-click the folder to display the action menu.

  3. Click on "Group Root".

  4. From the list of available groups, select a group.

  5. Upon successful assignment, a notification will appear indicating that the folder is now assigned to the chosen group.

How to remove a group root?

Navigate to the folder with a group root specified. Open the "Group Root" action menu to view all listed groups. If a group is assigned, "Active" will appear beside it. Click the group again to unassign
